Out of Eugene Oregon, Ninkasi has become a brewery to be reckoned with in the past few years. Their ruthless IPAs kick some serious fucking ass while dominating and tearing through one's brain. Spring Reign, however, dominates a little too much. A summer ale should be light and floral in character so it pairs with a fucking sweet ass summer day. This brew comes to your house, smacks you in the face with malts, and then makes fun of your mother like an IPA. While it is a very tasty beer in its own right, the recipe is inappropriate for the labeling. Due to this fact, I give it a 3 out of five. Drink it without summer ale expectations.
