This Bison Brew must be called "saison-style" because only a true Belgian can be called a Saison (aka farmhouse) and this beer was brewed in California. There has been a recent surge of micro-breweries trying their hand at the Belgian style. Some are good and some fail miserably. This brew is damn good, but not fucking great. The best thing it has going for it is the price. Rather than pay $12 for a true Belgian, this beer only cost $4. Some people would call this a no-brainer. Other people would say the cheapskates are uncultured swine. I say this beer is good enough to pass the test. 4 out of 5. Drink it you stingy bastard.
