Deschutes Brewery is the Budweiser of Oregon when it comes to distribution. Deschutes Mirror Pond Pale Ale is in just about every bar you walk into in this fine state. It is a damn shame they push that crap instead of their Cascade Ale. The latter is a good bit lighter which gives it more "drinkability" but all the flavor remains. While it is a good bit harder to locate than Mirror Pond, Cascade Ale is worth the search. It is an all around gorgeous summer beer that is perfect for when your lady drags you to the park with the baby. Just slip one of these bad boys in your pocket and the trip might almost be bearable. 4.5 out of 5. Drink it.
