America Lamb

I was strolling through the supermarket today trying to decide what to have for lunch. I came up with something very familiar (meat and potatoes) but I put my own little spin on it to jazz it up. Let's begin:
I found these awesome blue potatoes so I cut them up into fries, tossed them with olive oil and salt, and baked them at 400 deg for about 20 min. Too bad you can't find blue potatoes because you live in some loser state like Ohio. Next melt 1/3lb blue cheese and 1/3c butter into 1/2c milk over very low heat. Remove from heat and stir in 3 diced chipotle peppers. "Can't I just add the chipotle to some blue cheese dressing?" I don't see why not but it would be difficult to live with yourself seeing as how you cheated. Commit to making everything you can from scratch. It will pay off once you get good at it. So for you, never. Add the chipotle to fucking blue cheese dressing for all I care. Pour over your lamb steak and use as a dipping sauce for your fries. Eat it.

Why did you call this America Lamb - it's Labor Day weekend, not the 4th of July.. This isn't the patriotic holiday....
