Okay. You all know how much I love Hair of the Dog, right? Well I got the 2009 edition of Doggie Claws (a barley wine) and while I was pouring it out I realized it had ZERO carbonation. If I had decided to age this beer I would be super fucking pissed years down the line. After some online sleuthing it turns out that there were two bottlings of Doggie Claws this year. The ones with gold caps have high carbonation while the ones with blue caps have zero carbonation. This was an accident. Moral of the story: if you are aging a blue capped 2009 Doggie Claws, you are fucked. I am not going to rate this beer because I could not even finish it. I will not, however, stop buying Hair of the Dog. It is just one dude and he works the shit out of his beer. Maybe next year...
You suck at cooking. You fuck up rice. You think Cayenne is that fat bitch from around the way and Old Bay is the piece of shit that keeps calling the cops on you and your boys. Stop being such a fucking loser and grow a brain. Cooking is easy as shit. Learn it.

Hair of the Dog Brewing - 2009 Doggie Claws

Maybe you could have incorporated the unfinished part into one of your ingenious cooking inventions.
You should have put the rest in your shampoo bottle. Your hair would smell fucking fabulous.
That is a really, really good idea! Too bad I let it sit out overnight. Damn!
I know what you wrote Michael. You are one sick fucking bastard! I am not surprised you ended up deleting that!
I am a strictly Pantene guy.
I am new to blogging, didn't mean to spam. Just trying to get the word out. Let me know if you have any tips for advertising blogs since it looks like yours is doing well. Thanks.
Oh and UP YOURS A-hole! Haha Just kidding your blog looks cool i will check it out...
The person who posted this comment above has been repeatedly spamming the CL Food Forum for about a week now and her posts get removed in less that 5 min. That should be the first tip that you are spamming.
It really got to me so I left a polite message on her boring ass shitty blog and instructed her to stop spamming CL.
My tip for advertising?
Don't piss everyone off by spamming your loser blog no one wants to read anyway. Try actually participating in the food forum rather than cramming your link down our throats.
Now that we have had this exchange I better not see you around anymore.
Thank You
Damn, at this point, I would have added some stuff to get the carbonation going... most beers are carbonated in-bottle anyhow, so there are still some yeasts in the beer itself, and they just need to be fed to create the carbonation. Fun!
But, yeah, I guess shampoo would be another good option. Flat beer is good for hair anyhow.
What do you mean by feeding it?
I read a lengthy statement from the brewer himself and he said that he doesn't think the "Blue Caps" will ever catch up.
It may not work, but I would try it... basically if there's any yeast left in the bottle, you feed it sugar to reactivate it. One usually uses corn sugar or additional malted barley for this. They have nifty little sugar drops that look like bland lemonheads that you put in bottles of beer when one is bottling to set up the process for carbonation. One would then recap the bottle and wait a few weeks to see if anything happens. If not, you're not really worse for wear.
Very interesting. I have not heard of that before. Thanks for the tip!
