Three Skulls Ales - Hop the Plank IPA

I know what you are thinking: "after seeing this beer I want to speak, dance around, and wildly gesticulate like a pirate!" You make me sick. What the fuck is our unhealthy obsession with pirates about? Is it really that fun to say 'Arrr?' No, it isn't. Get over yourself and have some fucking dignity. That being said, I have never heard of this brewery before and apparently they are new on the scene. After taking a sip or two I decided I really, really liked it (despite the whole pirate thing) and when I looked it up online all the pieces fell into place. I guess Baron Brewing, which I think is pretty damn good, opened up a bar in Seattle called Pillagers Pub and created a spinoff brewery, Three Skulls Ales, in order to expand and offer American style ales (Baron is all German, all the time). For a brewery that focuses on killer German beers, they sure as fuck can pull off good old American beer too. Excellent job Baron. I hope to get up to Seattle soon to check out your new digs. 4.75 out of 5. Drink it.

Wow. A big grade! Speaking of new breweries, I found a new one. Intercourse Brewing Company from Intercourse, PA. Yes, for real!

And I'll tell you what we do with pirates. After they capture American ships, we send a fucking Navy warship to their little pathetic speed boat and then 85 snipers shoot the fuckers when they move one inch.

At least they didn't start their brewery in Analsex, PA...

I live about 8 blocks from the Pillager's Pub but haven't been in it yet...I'll have to give it a whirl.

Do it. If they have Baron on tap get that shit. Their rauchbier is fantastic.
